2.1. Captain – Pakistan National Football Team
Hajra Khan is a well-known Karachi player and the captain of the Pakistan National Football Team. She has been playing professionally since she was 14 years old and was crowned South Asian Beach Games winner in 2011. Hajra Khan is the first sportswoman in Pakistani history to have scored 100 goals, and her football career parallels her college education.
Hajra Hajra is a Pakistani footballer who now plays for Balochistan United Women’s Football Club and Sun Hotels and Resorts Maldives Club. She became a member of the Sun Hotels and Resorts Maldives club on May 24, 2015. In 2014, she became the first Pakistani female footballer to acquire an international contract.

After being forced into marriage at the age of 12 and divorced at the age of 20, Ghulam Sughra Solangi founded the Marvi Rural Development Organization. Following a disastrous flood in her community and witnessing the gross neglect of women during rescue operations, Ghulam Sughra Sughra supported several women in establishing themselves as businesses through sheer tenacity.
My bitter experiences motivated me to work for women’s empowerment. I feel one can only understand the bitterness and harshness of life if he or she has experienced something like that themselves.

Her mission then expanded to urge families to educate their young daughters. Her goal is to improve the socioeconomic standing of women in the Sindh area via social and economic empowerment. 4. 4. Maria Umar
4.1. Founder & President, Women’s Digital League (WDL)
As an educator who was previously refused maternity leave, Umar formed the “Women’s Digital League” in response to her ordeal. The company has a two-pronged strategy, the first of which is to create an online gateway with digital services. The other is to support and give jobs ‘from home’ to women who find it difficult to work outside of their homes. Now, women who want to work but lack a platform where they can readily put their abilities to use.
She has taught entrepreneurship in African colleges. Maria was also a Young Global Shaper at the World Economist Forum and a 2012 Echoing Green Fellowship Qualifier. She did not stop there; she also created the MIT International Sciences and Technology Initiatives curriculum in China!
Maria is the founder and president of Women’s Digital League (WDL), a social company created in 2009 with the goal of providing Pakistani women with digital literacy training and employment. She has over 9 years of experience in the online digital outsourcing industry. Maria is also the Project Manager for WomenX, a World Bank-supported training programme for women in business, which stems from her enthusiasm for economic empowerment of women.

Sophia Hasnain, a tech entrepreneur and social activist, will stop at nothing. She holds a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and has successfully developed unique products and initiatives such as the Easy Paisa Strategy and Pakistan’s first “real-time online Lottery” with 5000 retail terminals.
She also worked as a Trends and Transformations Consultant, focusing on new solutions to help firms manage the customer experience. She is now the Founder and CEO of Linked Things, a provider of IoT solutions for emerging countries.
Her consulting concentration is on new products, and she assists firms in “taking a leap, starting innovating, becoming market leaders, bringing their products back into focus; managing the product, managing the customer experience, managing the growth, and growing the revenues.”

As a self-described humanist who is passionate about women’s rights and online activism, she ‘came up with dozens of ideas for generating awareness about privacy and security online,’ as well as giving information and guidance regarding Internet privacy and safety.
