Wednesday is an American supernatural comedic horror streaming television series based on Charles Addams’ character Wednesday Addams. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar designed it.
Wednesday aired on Netflix on November 16, 2022, and received mostly excellent reviews from reviewers, who appreciated Ortega’s performance. It became the second-most viewed English-language Netflix series within three weeks of its premiere.
Wednesday Addams gets dismissed from school for putting live piranhas into the pool as punishment for the boys’ water polo team tormenting her brother, Pugsley. As a result, her parents, Gomez and Morticia Addams, enrol her at Nevermore Academy, a private school for hideous outcasts, in the hamlet of Jericho, Vermont.
Wednesday’s cold, impersonal manner and stubborn character make it tough for her to connect with her classmates and get in trouble with the administration. She realizes, however, that she has inherited her mother’s psychic skills, which enable her to solve a local murder case.
