Contiloe Pictures’ Taj: Divided by Blood is an Indian historical drama streaming television series made for ZEE5. The series’ main cast includes Dharmendra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rahul Bose, Aditi Rao Hydari, Zarina Wahab, Sandhya Mridul, Aashim Gulati, and Taaha Shah.
On March 3, 2023, the serial debuted on ZEE5. It is directed by Abhimanyu Singh, Roopali Singh, and William Borthwick, and it was shot in the last month of 2022.
The tale is set in the 16th century and features Akbar and his three sons: Salim, Murad, and Daniyal. It’s a twisted story about power struggles packed with perilous politics, poetic beauty, torrid loves, icy betrayal, and carnage.
The programme reveals numerous layers of each Mughal dynasty figure. The series depicts the rise and collapse of the Mughal Empire’s different generations, highlighting both the grandeur and brutality of the empire.
